Contact USTP304 stainless steel seamless pipe (ASTM A312/A213 TP304) is one of the most widely used austenitic stainless steel pipes in industrial applications. With its excellent corrosion resistance, outstanding workability, and stable performance in both high and low temperature environments, it has become a standard material in industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and energy.
A seamless stainless steel tube(SMLS) is manufactured by drawing a solid billet over a piercing rod to form a hollow tube. Because the manufacturing process does not involve welding, seamless pipes are considered stronger and more reliable. Historically, seamless pipes have been regarded as better able to withstand pressure and are often easier to obtain than welded pipes.
TP304 is an ASTM standard austenitic stainless steel grade (UNS S30400), equivalent to EN 1.4301, GB 06Cr19Ni10, and JIS SUS304.
Seamless pipes are produced by hot rolling or cold drawing processes without weld seams, with the following main standards:
| American Standards | ASTM A312 / ASTM A213 (for boilers, superheaters, and fluid transportation) |
| Chinese Standards | GB/T 14976 (for fluid transportation) GB/T 14975 (for structural applications) GB 13296 (for boilers and heat exchangers) |
| Other Standards | JIS G3459 (Japan) DIN 17458 (Germany) |

1. Corrosion Resistance
TP304 seamless stainless steel pipes are made from high-quality 304 stainless steel and provide excellent resistance to corrosion, allowing them to withstand a wide range of chemical environments and harsh operating conditions.
2. High Strength
These pipes exhibit excellent tensile strength and maintain stable mechanical properties even under high temperature and high pressure conditions, meeting the strength requirements of various engineering applications.
3. High Temperature Resistance
TP304 seamless stainless steel pipes perform well in elevated temperature environments and can withstand temperatures up to 800°C, making them suitable for high-temperature processing equipment and pipelines.
4. Good Workability
TP304 pipes can be easily processed into different shapes and customized sizes, providing flexibility for various engineering projects and equipment manufacturing.
5. High Cost Performance
As one of the most commonly used 300-series stainless steels, TP304 offers excellent cost efficiency and is often chosen as an upgrade from carbon steel for corrosion resistance.
6. Hygienic Performance
The smooth inner wall reduces scaling and contamination, meeting food-grade and potable water hygiene standards, and prevents secondary pollution of the transported medium.
